View from my house of the snow!

Don't run in the snow without shoes on!

So...I woke up in the morning..Around 8AM. First thing I hear is my mom yelling up at me, "CONNOR! NO SCHOOL! GO BACK TO BED!" I was SO happy hearing this..I got up and ran quickly to my window. It was snowing! I ran outsied and met up with my friends. We had an intense snowball fight, of course I won! =)
After that, we went into their house and were going to eat some food and get warm! Well..After I took all my (5-6) layers off, they were completely soaked and on the ground. They asked me to run back to my house to get some apple cider and also some other little snacks. I said okay and I was off to my house. My house is only about a 1 to 2 minute walk by foot, so it's pretty close...
BUT, when you don't have dry shoes to wear & you have to run only 1-2 minutes away..Doesn't seem very far.
THATS WHAT I THOUGHT, but once I was running in the snow, without any protective wear on my feet, it was freezing cold and my feet were on fire! I sprinted as fast as I could to my house. As soon as I got there, i jumped inside and started to run upstairs to the bathtub. Put my feet into the tub..And then turned the water on. I put my feet under and they burned SO BAD. Then my dad walked into the room and felt the water and said it wasn't even warm...hahahaha.

So, to sum EVERYTHING up. Don't attempt to run in the snow without shoes/socks on.
IT WILL HURT YOU VERY BADLY.
