these two eagles and many more have used this snag to survey the land ,eat fish and just plain rest,the snag itself has very long and tortured history, i can recall 3 times it was hit by lightning at least since i lived here. this tree even made the news in 2002/3 when lightning struck it and the bark burned for 6 days, i believe it was the komo news helicopter that filmed it. unfortunatly its on vhs, or i would post it.
