Unusual but not unheard of - snow in Gig Harbor. The snow of 21 December 2008 adds character and beauty that our wonderful city rarely experiences. The local environment is changed uncharacteristically - the sounds, the light, the colors, the temperature, the visual sights all changed temporarily. Few people were out experiencing this beauty.
