Dogs can stand on snow!

After our 4 inches of snow, a light mist of rain fell on top. This froze into a pretty solid layer of ice. It was solid enough that my Pom-Yorkie mix, Pickpocket, was able to stand on top of the snow! See how his paws are completely on top of the snow but the nearby footprints show the actual depth of the snow. He was a confused puppy :)
