Sam's Summer Storm running through the snow!

Summer Storm in a December snow storm!!!

Both horse and non-horse people alike will enjoy the beauty of our Rocky Mountain stallion "Sam's Summer Storm" aka Teddy romping in all the snow that has fallen in Arlington, Wa. where we call home. Rocky Mountain Pleasure Horses are still somewhat a rare sight although there numbers are increasing quickly as horse lovers learn about them. They are noted for there beauty, amazing tempermant, many color pattern with chocolate with flax. mane and tail(like Teddy) being the most sought after, but most importantly their smooth 4-beat gait that allows the rider to enjoy a long ride without the aches and pains other riders suffer riding their non-gaited breeds.
Teddy is just 8 years old and has had many foals, succesfully shown, ridden in drill teams & parades to promote their, weekend trail rides, and still is safe enough for me to feel secure putting our three year old horsecrazy granddaughters up on him and let them go for a ride. Stallions are generally considered too much horse for anyone but an experienced horseperson to handle Rocky Mountain stallions on a whole break that image of the rowdy, vicious stallion.
If you would like to learn more about this amazing breed of horse or would like to come by and see Teddy for yourself visitors are welcome most anytime I'd love to take you out and introduce you to our beautiful boy. For those who have horses and are looking for a match for you mare just give me a call as I'm working on his 2009 bookings. Contact Tina Starkweather at StarGait Farms 425-244-3437
