My husband and I are on our 2nd christams with our 17month daughter. Financial issues hit us hard this year, causing a tight christmas. We were able to buy our daughter winter boots to play outside, but we could not afford gifts for her. This is the first year we have not put up a christmas tree, nor hang the stockings with care. The most important part of Christmas, is the love of ones family. We are supported by the ones we love, and although my daughter cannot be outside long in this beautiful snow that we have been blessed with, I wanted to take this photo to show that anyone can bring out the inner child during Christmas. My spirits have been down, however, this Elmo, this brave little Elmo, gave me the strength to love and appreciate this Christmas.
The best part of Christmas, is being with your family. My daughter is as happy as can be, which places a smile on my husband and my face.
Thank you for the snow. It is a beauty that is unlike any other. Who doesnt want a white Christmas. Happy Holidays everyone!
