My husband went to check the mail to day and noticed worms, little worms all over in the snow. He came in and said they must have fell from the sky. I went out and sure enough they are everywere. In my neighbors yards and even on the paved roads. They are just on the top not inbetween so thats what leads my husband to think that they came from up-above. I think they came from under the ground, maybe it was to cold for them and they came up. How would they get that far, why would they only be on top, why none between the layers and why on the paved road?
Maybe your weather man can help with this problem and explaine how this can happen.

They are Alien worms ofcourse left by Martians to see if there's any hostile Viruses or Bacteria on earth that could be a danger to the invasion . Keep in mind Mars is much colder then here this actually might be to hot for them.

Here in Ladysmith on Vancouver Island, my daycare children and I found orange ish yellow, thin worms that were about 1.5 inches long on the snow. The only other thing we noticed was bird droppings in the snow. I would love to hear what they are!

I noticed them in Langley, B.C. They are only on the path, not in the snow to the sides. The area of path they are on is app. 300 ft.

ice worms from glaciers are black and these sound just like the worms from the 1800's in NY which have no ice worms.

We had them too in Gig Harbor. They were falling out of the ceiling of my daughter's igloo (yuk!). If anyone finds out about them, please post.

Well, a local news reporter came today to get video documentation and I sent him away with a couple live specimans to hopefully find out what they are, where they came from, and why we've never seen them before.

I ended up on our local news (Chek) here in Victoria. Still don't know what they are but I wonder if they are ice worms? Could they have ended up in the clouds- (glacier melt) and then blown in with the strong arctic winds?.Like insects/dust clouds?

Could they have fallen from trees above the snow?

I just sent pics to my vet.... we have them in our yard in Olympia too. Freaked me out. My vet thinks they COULD be round worms..said I could salt the yard. They could just be earthworms also. The rain may have brought them to the surface....
