6 New Inches of Snow in Union on Hood Canal

Union on Hood Canal gets Hammered Again

Snow continues to fall on the sleepy little town of Union on Hood Canal. As of 9 p.m. six more inches of snow has fallen.

Union has been hammered with snow this winter. There was 23 inches on the ground by December 22nd. The local residents were certain their packages from UPS would not arrive by Christmas, but holiday spirit prevailed!

Christmas week, UPS dropped off any packages they couldn't deliver at the Union Fire Station. Armed with Christmas cheer, the fire department mounted their trucks and ATV's and delivered all the packages by Christmas Eve. Even snowbound townfolk on high hilltops received their gifts.

Santa Claus arrived in Union thanks to the help of the fine men and women of Mason County Fire Station No 6.
