Creek Becomes 40 Foot Wide River

The Wilkeson Creek is normally about 7 or 8 feet wide and on average about 4 feet deep. But with the flood waters it is now about 40 wide in most places if not more. These pictures where taken 1/7/09 about 5 hours before the creek crested right outside Rainer Ranch Sights on Johns RD E between Burnett and Wilkeson. The road heads into South Prairie.
