With the skies clearing I grabbed my camera and headed to the airport. Blasted off into a very turbulent air mass and headed north from Crest airpark in Kent to Snoqualmie Falls. The amount of water coming down the rivers and streams is more than i have seen in a long time. I had some people waving at me from their house along the cedar river in maple valley area. They had neighbors over and a fire going. I looked as if they had been able to keep the water out with a large wall of sand bags built up between the river and them.
