Today while my family was out taking photos of the flooding in the Duvall area, a nearby woman slipped in the mud and smashed her head on the curb. People nearby quickly came to her and administered first aid. Paramedics arrived shortly after and picked her up but had no way to drive her out of Duvall to a hospital. The aid truck drove to the edge of the water and loaded the woman into a small motorboat. The boat, in turn, carried her across the valley to a second aid car on the woodinville side of the valley.
