Earth Hour began in 2007. It began with the estimated participation of 2.2 million people. The following year it was estimated that 50 million people joined the event. I am hoping to do my part and help those numbers grow.
Earth Hour is just a simple flick of the switch. You turn out your lights for one hour on March 28, 2009 at 8:30 pm. By that simple act you will be participating in a global message voicing that we care about our climate and we want a change.
I am hoping that this Event can be shared throughout the schools and businesses. I believe we can help make our own impact. Please consider spreading the information regarding Earth Hour.
