The story takes us on Hwy 97A 2 miles south of Lake Chelan through the Knapps Hill (locals like to call it the 'Chelan Pass'). Low clouds and fog have produced hoarfrost for weeks piling up on every imaginable surface. As seen on the stately willow, Old Glory and the towering ponderosa behind. Traveling further towards the lake an eagle is siloutted in hunting mode overlooking the lake (not seen in photo).
