The snow began to fall around 5:30 AM on 2/10/09. It fell all day and at 5:00 PM there was 7" on the ground and it was still falling! We live on Mystic Ct, which is on top of Enchantment Ridge just north of Shelton. The ridge is about 400' above the Skokomish River valley at the great bend of the Hood Canal, looking out to the Olympic Mts. When the storms hit the canal area we get them hard and the snow falls deep!
