Need Publics Help

On Sat, Feb. 14, an unknown male entered the store at Nisqually Valley Grocery. After waiting for a customer to exit, he produced a handgun and demanded cash. He then fled the scene in a White SUV with custom wheels.

Why stay at the register after the guy left? hmm let me think about this ..... yeah the guy had a gun.

I don't know if this is just me never seeing a real robbery before, but the cashiers seemed rather calm. The guy who ringing him up seemed nervous, but the lady seemed relaxed. And why did she just stay at the register after the other guy left.
