Comcast Truck in Creek

Comcast Truck Falls in Lyons Creek

A Comcast truck was driving along 35th Ave N in Lake Forest Park this morning. The truck missed a telephone pole, crossed the street, landed on the neighbors bridge, then fell in the creek. The police said the man was in his early 40's and was sent to Harbor View. Luckily he was wearing his seat belt, or he would have died. The neighbor's bridge was demolished, leaving them no way to get to their house unless they climb the rockery and go through their creek. Several fire, aid, police, water and gas vehicles arrived on the scene right away. All utilities were shut off as there was a gas leak. The homeowners were not home when this happened, but by the time they were notified by phone they were already driving up on the scene. This accident has inspired me to contact the police department and start a block watch. We should all know our neighbors and we should know how to reach them during a home emergency!

Surely this will be a hardship and burden for this family as they struggle with this inconvenience as they wait for repairs.... but kudos to you for turning lemons to lemonade and initiating this neighborhood block watch - good for you!

Wow that had to hurt! All I hope that the driver is o.k.

Way to jump to conclusions! I see nowhere in the above article any mention of the driver being highly medicated or any such nonsense. Do hope he is ok though.

I love it when someone posts and only has half the story. Which would make you an excellent reporter!!! The vehicle went across the road for a reason. I'll let you figure the rest out. Next time get all of the story and then post

If you actually had any of the facts you'd understand that the driver had a siezure (grand maul) and was under no medications. Funny how that's always the first thing uninformed people jump to when something out of the ordinary happens.

All Comcast employees should fall in a creek.

You guys are all dicks! The Comcast driver suffered an unexpected siezure that cause him to go off the road. Seriously...have some compassion for people and don't just to conclusions.

"The Comcast driver suffered an unexpected siezure"....hmmmm has anyone had a "expected siezure". Wait, it's 10:30 I feel one coming on now.....nevermind it was just gas. As far as compassion for people, good luck with that.
