Strong gusts shook a branch loose and onto a power line on in Sedro Woolley at approximately 8:00pm Wednesday 6/24/09. Two electrical lines were shorted out, causing a power outage for the neighborhood. The power was reset with the branch still hanging, causing a bright red glow and loud zapping sounds that brought out the residents of Wicker Rd. Police and Fire were quick on the scene and power was restored a short time later.
