Channel: Brotherton Community Champions: Driving for Excellence

Location: Shoreline WA

Monty Reed and They Shall Walk were recently selected as NBC's "Today's American Story with Bob Dotson". Monty's vision is that They Shall Walk will continue to raise awareness of the plight of disabled persons and develop technology to improve their quality of life.

Reed's efforts and those of his volunteer team, are changing the value and quality of life prospects for disabled persons from Shoreline, WA, to those around the globe.

While numerous groups have offered matching funds for future development of the LIFESUIT, Monty's team needs regular monthly support to further the day-to-day needs of a small non-profit. We appreciate the long term focus of interested supporters on the vision of They Shall Walk.

The Brotherton Community Champions prize would have an immediate impact on the operational needs of the group. Additionally, this grant could also be matched by several other organizations having a profound impact upon the organization during this critical year of LIFESUIT development.

Please watch the NBC Today Show clip we've uploaded. We appreciate your time and community interest.

As a Friend of They Shall Walk for the last three years I have seen Monty Reed provide a vision of hope and reality to individuals confined to a wheelchair who had no vision or hope.

The lifesuit is the most life changing opportunity that I am aware of. Everyone who sees the working prototype and hears Monty's story wants to get involved. I urge you to as well.
