Highway 101 was well lit on the night of July 4th. About 4 miles past Shelton's Sanderson Field, Northbound on Highway 101, several fireworks stands from the Skokomish Indian Reservation put on an unchoreographed firework show by lighting off the surplus from this years stock. Young and old alike partook in the ignition of fireworks of all classes as the night went on.
