Homemade Swamp Cooler

The heat inspired my creativity. I duct-taped an icepack to my fan. I used a refreezable ice pack, the kind you would use in a lunch box or on a body ache. It worked so well I made two of them for my main room. I also ran to the store and purchased three more ice packs from the first aid section in my local store. That way I can rotate the ice packs as they melt. It has lowered the temp. in my main room. These two fans are making life more comfortable without AC.

Technically, thats not a swamp cooler. Its a form of convection cooling. A swamp cooler uses evaporation to cool things down, like sweating.
