Yey to the superheroes who decided to renovate the "phant". I grew up seeing that icon while my parents drove down Aurora. Keep ol' Seattle from vanishing! Clap, clap, clap! to those who saw the value in the elephant!

That is great. The elephant means a lot to our family too. My Grandpa, Denny Grindall, was the man who brought the elephant to 88th and Aurora to his Florist Shop. He passed away August 6th, 2009 and it's great to see it living on.

I'm glad they finally repaired it. I hope they got all the bird junk out of the poor thing too.

This poor thing looked so bad before they fix it up! It was almost scary looking!!! I'll have to look for it the next time I'm on Aurora!
