This was an awesome display of civility. It shows that a crowd of 300,000 people can all get along in a very mellow, nonviolent way. The people were both polite and friendly. It appears a good time was had by all.

Where's the media attention? you only talk about the traffic problem it created, not that it's the biggest show of cannabis supporters in the country!!!!!

You guys should know better. #1 the news only reports the negative. #2 We can't have that many people "getting along". The drug companies pay big money to get you hooked on "THEIR" stuff. They also pay out to the media also.

Everybody was polite :-) Let's see a group of drunk people get along that well. I can't wait for next year!

Yes, it was the best show of public freedom to light up. I still don't need permission to smoke pot after 35 years. This year was great. After 4:20 I went swimming in a sea of stoners. It was packed that tight.

I'm fairly new to the Seattle area so I never been to Hempfest. There is nothing like in my home state of Ohio. A few friends and I had a blast. We spent most of the day down by the water. I met some great people there. Seattle is a GREAT city.

I do not smoke the cannabis plant. I so support Hempfest and decriminalization. Let's have compassion for those who need effective, safe medicines, like cannabis; and freedom of choice for adults who simply like its mellowing effects.

"Is there" (not their). This is not the forum to talk about your disgusting appreciation. If you are really 27, you have issues. Grow up and get a life.

I'm just curious - does anyone know if there are any health based rammifications to marijuanna use? I've heard, from a couple of friends of mine, that marijuanna use, especially prolonged use, creates liver cancer. Something about the THC in the MJ.
