I stumbled on to this band at the Taste of Tacoma and since then I have followed them to different venues and think this will be the next big band out of the Seattle area.
Their sound is refreshing, up beat with lyrics that mean something. Trying to explain their sound is difficult because they have a acoustic pop/rock sound but they also incorporate a Jazz flare within the music. I would say simular to a Dave Matthews but with a John Mayer as well.
I just went to a show they had over the weekend in Bremerton. The one think I noticed about this band is that the crowds that listen to them are all over the board, early 20's to late 40's were in the crowd.
Joshua Adams is a amazing writer of lyrics and has a voice that is new and refreshing as well. If you listen to the lyrics they actually make sen ce and have a story to tell. His band mates are amazing as well. The Keys and sax player are over the top with their sound and solo jams throughout their songs. The drummer is a show in it's self. I think this band will help change the direction of the seattle music scene. It's refreshing!
Check them out on the web or at a show because I think you will see that they have a new refreshing sound that you will want to hear as they grow.
