Chinook Pass just opened this last Memorial weekend. Despite the pleasant temperatures, it still looks like Winter. By Mid-July there will be wildflowers, where the snow now blankets the alpine meadows. In the background is Mt. Rainier, The Matriarch of the Cascade Mountain Range.
