On my into town on Dec 10, I couldn't help but notice that Port Susan Bay was freezing over. Camera within easy reach, as always, I pulled over to get a few photos of the scene. Mt Baker looked amazing in the backround, reflecting in the pools not yet frozen. Waterbirds were swimming around and finding safety on the ice sheets. Wonderful!
