Everyday I live, I am JCSTRONG! That is the motto that the Childs' family, friends of the famliy, & well just about everyone who knows us-has vowed to live by. March 29, 2007, James Childs, better known as Coach JC was diagnosed with Gastro Adeno Carcinoma (Gastric Cancer). It hit everyone hard-how could such a healthy young man be diagnosed with Stomach Cancer? He is one of the most physically fit people you will ever see & believes in eating healthy. There is a reason-God has a reason-we just haven't figured out what the reason is. The thing about JC is that he never gives up. He has been through so much in his life but he has always looked at it as yet another hurdle. He refuses to let anyone or anything bring him down. His response to his diagnosis? It's Just Cancer. The same as his initials...now dealing with the horrible side effects of the chemo he says...it's Just Chemo! I'm amazed daily at his strength, courage, & attitude to never give up. You see that is what JCSTRONG means to us-A Journey full of Courage & Strength. It is Tough but it is Reality. You must be Open Minded & you must Never Give-Up!
