Amateur videos of a fire that broke out while a John Deere backhoe was refueling at a local gas station. Circumstances which triggered the fire were unknown at this time.
Videos are in sequence by file date.
Several explosions occur as tires blow, fuel tank and hydraulic line incinerate.
No injuries.
The local fire department was on another dispatch at the time.
police had not arrived yet during the first video clip
Video taping stopped when the wind blew the toxic fumes my direction
2 brush fire engines arrived and began to suppress the flames, however the backhoe appears to be a total loss
The gas pump island was obscured from this viewing angle but appeared to have some survival as I viewed from the back angle when we departed.
The flames were being knocked down considerably when we left
Some traffic had to drive through the grass and playgrounds of local businesses in an attempt to circumnavigate the fire.
Local traffic was instrumental in blocking traffic from getting to near to the fire before police arrived
