Who says cats don;t like to swim?

When Buddha M'Zee's mom called and told me that she thought her kitty would like to swim at SplashDog, the canine warm water therapy spa I co-own in Edmonds, I was dubious. I was pretty certain that she was mistaken, but I agreed to allow her to bring him in for a session at the end of my day. She explained that he compromises his water bowl every day and loves to play in the bathtub. I raised my eyebrows, and thought that if nothing else, this was going to be interesting.

Buddha M'Zee taught me a very special lesson that day. If I throw away my preconceived notions about someone or something, magical things can happen. I have lots of video from the second he got into the warm pool with us to the minute that he got out. He was relaxed, curious, and amazing.

Buddha M'Zee can teach us all a lesson about not putting limitations on anyone. If given the opportunity, we just maybe pleasantly surprised.

"HE" was always special to us, not "We" was always special to us. Any how, we are very proud of him and grateful that Nicole was able to take him when she did.

Amazing! To think that this tiny puff of fur that we have fed and cared for 24-7 has turned into such an amazing cat makes us so proud! We was always special to us. GO BUDDAH!

He's such a cutie, and so laid back while swimming back and forth. It's obvious he's having a good time and loves his momma. Thanks for sharing!

I love his calm, laid back demeanor. He doesn't know how special he is ... give him a snuggle for me :)
