My wife and I were driving home between Marysville and Everett tonight at approximately 7:58 PM. There were some nasty dark clouds in front of us and off to our left towards Snohomish. I saw a funnel cloud form right before my eyes, along with the circular motion. In just a few seconds, the funnel cloud appeared to touch the ground but the base was obstructed from view by hill -- I don't know it ever touched down, but it was definitely an awesome sight. I snapped a few pics with my cell phone camera from the passenger seat which I included for this story. If it was a tornado, I hope everyone is okay!

How bazaar! I lived in the Midwest for 36 years. I know what tornado weather is like. This seems like a freak of nature as I didn't notice any tornado weather that night!
