Closer inspection of my photos revealed significant spindrift on the south/ southwest side of the Mt. I took photos both through glass and standing outside. It may have been a beautiful day in the lowlands, but it was a cold windy one on the summit!

My husband and I were marveling at those clouds last night out in our front yard. Even with a beautiful view from our house we never get tired of seeing the mountain. It's magical every time!

When the Mountain is out it is a "Miracle!!!"
I have lived in King county for 66 Years and I never tire
of seeing ...like it is brand new!! We live in Kent, WA. and when we go someplace, the first tjhing I do is check the "Mountain!!!"

Yes, I saw these cloud formations also this evening. I don't think I've ever seen quite this type of cloud formation over the mountain before. I've seen lenticular clouds before and wonder if this could be a variation of that.
