Illegal Immigrants

If they have the intestinal fortitude to air it. I spent 21 years in the military helping to protect Americans freedom for peaceful assembly and free speech. This also includes My freedom of speech. I have worked with men and women of all most every race, creed, color, religion, and country around the world. I have found that there are good and bad every where you go. Please read to bottem of this e mail.It is a copy of the immigration laws for another country that is familiar. I welcome all LEGAL immigrants to this great nation of ours. Our diversity is one of our greatest assets and resource. Having said that, here is what happened:
I was walking downtown Seattle near where my Girl works and heard some one talking via a loudspeaker @ a local park. I was intrigued. When I could hear what the person was talking about, I was sure that the people around should have more facts then was being given, and it was my pleasure to share with them in my shy quiet way some information. I was sure to differentiate between facts and what was my personal opinion. The speaker was attempting to gather support to repeal Arizona's' recent law concern ILLEGAL immigrants and the tough penalties for employers who knowingly hire them. The speaker was quoting parts of the law as if it was racist. It does not target any group based on race. It targets criminals ie those who are in our country illegally. This is not based on race, creed, color, religion, or sex. So, during a lull in his rantings, I loudly proclaimed my support of this law and suggested it should be a Federal law. This got the attention of a lot of people, including the local news filming the event. The news folks thought I might be a candidate for sharing a more conservative viewpoint. Once I shared my retired military status of 21 years (MSgt), they actually seemed to take me a little more seriously. I said all that I said above, and suggested that they view the lack of freedoms in other countries, the immigration law that is an attachment to this email, and the money it is costing all LEGAL people in America via our taxes. Things like medical care, our jobless rate, welfare, etc.
I can only hope it airs on TV and includes my love and dedication to this great Nation of ours that our military, my Grandfathers, my Father, my brother, and myself have helped defend.
Please forward this email to all. I AM PROUD TO BE AN AMERICAN!

The State of Sonora, Mexico is angry at the influx of Mexicans into Mexico . Nine state legislators from the Mexican State of Sonora traveled to Tucson to complain about Arizona 's new employer crackdown on illegal immigrants.

It seems that many Mexican illegals are returning to their hometowns and the officials in the Sonora state government are angry.

A delegation of nine state legislators from Sonora was in Tucson on Tuesday to state that Arizona 's new Employer Sanctions Law will have a devastating effect on the Mexican state.

At a news conference, the legislators said that Sonora, - Arizona's southern neighbor, - made up of mostly small towns, - cannot handle the demand for housing, jobs and schools that it will face as Mexican workers return to their hometowns from the USA without jobs or money.

The Arizona law, which took effect Jan. 1, punishes Arizona employers who knowingly hire individuals without valid legal documents to work in the United States . Penalties include suspension of, or loss of, their business license.

The Mexican legislators are angry because their own citizens are returning to their hometowns, placing a burden on THEIR state government. 'How can Arizona pass a law like this?' asked Mexican Rep Leticia Amparano-Gamez, who represents Nogales .

'There is not one person living in Sonora who does not have a friend or relative working in Arizona ,' she said, speaking in Spanish. 'Mexico is not prepared for this, for the tremendous problems it will face as more and more Mexicans working in Arizona and who were sending money to their families return to their home-towns in Sonora without jobs,' she said. 'We are one family, socially and economically, ' she said of the people of Sonora and Arizona .
Wrong!
The United States is a sovereign nation, not a subsidiary of Mexico , and its taxpayers are not responsible for the welfare of Mexico 's citizens.
It's time for the Mexican government, and its citizens, to stop feeding parasitically off the United States and to start taking care of its/their own needs.
Too bad that other states within the USA don't pass a law just like that passed by Arizona .
Maybe that's the answer, since our own Congress will do nothing!

I think maybe the Americans that cant find jobs need to STOP whinning about it and work harder in their jobs and gain more experience..if illegals or other races are taking the jobs..obviously its because they work harder and are more dedicated.

When you said you welcome diversity, I believe you really mean diverse abilities, experience, knowledge and potential. Those are the criteria for entry, not culture, ethnicity, race, color, etc.

Hey Robert did you read the article, or are you like the rest of the American SHEEPEOPLE movement? Brain Dead, Dumb Downed,No Nothing, Spineless Numb-nuts.........

Robert says ... on Wednesday, Jun 2 at 1:04 PM

We were immigrants at some point (except Natives) Only a fraction of the people coming here from Mexico are actually valid criminals. Most are people just trying to better their lives. Easy to say when you don't know what they experience in Mexico.

How and where can we vote to boycott the citys, boycotting Arizona. I support Arizona. I want too boycott seatle.

deniseart1998 says ... on Tuesday, Jun 1 at 8:05 PM

I also agree. Just took a trip to Arizona. The people work alongside lots of foreign co-workers and all seem to get along. It's not about ethnicity or racial profiling. It's merely about the law. Illegal means illegal -- against the law.

msgtusaf, Thank you for serving our great country.

sushi says ... on Saturday, May 29 at 11:07 AM

I agree that our laws should be enforce just the same as Mexico's. there should not be any other language spoken but english, if someone needs translation, let them provide it themselves.

ai, what is your problem, we are not talking of sending all latinos, just the ones here illegally. I live in a community that is 90% white, yesterday I took stuff to the food bank and out of 20 people in that lobby I was the only white person,

THE ONLY WAY WE WILL EVER GET THESE SCUMBAG LOCUST OUT OF ARE COUNTRY IS TO PUT A FEW IN THE DITCH. OUR GOVERNMENT WILL DO NOTHING BUT CONTINUE TO PROMOTE ANY LAW AS RACIST THROUGH THEIR CONTROL OF THE MEDIA. AMERICANS MUST DO THIS ALONE! "DITCH EM"

taxpro says ... on Friday, May 28 at 6:00 PM

I think the laws of the US and mexico should be the same of immigration. That way the illegals can not say they misunderstood.

lowlifebiker says ... on Friday, May 28 at 5:38 PM

I also agree with the above, and support Arizona's law 100%. The immigration laws Mexico has should be the same here. Mexico does enforce it's law and we should and must enforce ours! We are not responsible for these peoples welfare.

sjkelly says ... on Friday, May 28 at 4:43 PM

Well! Finally there are laws that make sense - of course, they are MEXICO'S! I think if it's good enough for Mexico, the U.S. should adopt it!

Marieshy says ... on Friday, May 28 at 9:30 AM

I've been saying the same thing. I think we should mirror mexico's immigartion law after we clear out all the illegals

skysong says ... on Friday, May 28 at 8:44 AM

I agree with the above: Mexico should clean up its own corrupted government, and illegal immigrants should be sent back to Mexico. Our government is corrupted enough without any help from Mexico. We need immigration laws as tough as Mexico's.
