2 Car Collision in Lake City

Police and Fire trucks were called to the scene of a two car collision Friday evening at about 7:15 PM in Lake City. The corner of NE 125th St. and 25th Ave NE was the scene of yet another collision. Neighbors noted there had been an accident just last week at the very same intersection. A eyewitness to the latest collision stated that, “A car heading east on NE 125th was attempting to turn north onto 25th Ave NE while another vehicle traveling west on 125th chose to make a right turn, also heading north onto 25th Ave NE, when for some unknown reason the vehicle heading east chose to stop in the middle of his turn suddenly, leaving the westbound vehicle without room or time to yield.” The westbound vehicle plunged into the passenger side front quarter panel nearly knocking the right front tire off. There is a traffic signal at that corner but it is only pedestrian activated. Luckily there appeared to be no serious injuries in this latest accident.
